xawtv problem: picture AWOL
When in certain video modes (like the text modes during boot up) the picture is shaking, or more appropriately, rocking very fast. When My desktop finally shows up, the shaking stops. The difference between Safe Mode and normal boot up is that the the proprietary device drivers are not loaded. It sounds like the obvious culprit is the scanner drivers. Try removing/reinstalling your version of Picture Publisher. Make sure you back up and save any images that may be in the PP folders first.

I installed the Wal-Mart photo program in order to send in pictures for printing ,then pick them up at Wal-Mart.
